Positive Environment
Kayla demonstrated a positive approach to student work, giving praise and encouragement’- Karen Ellis, Mooroolbark College 2012.
I intend to foster a non-judgemental and supportive working space in any classroom environment, aiming to promote successful learning and celebrate individual and group achievements.
To establish a positive classroom environment I always aim to:
Encourage students to take risks
By facilitating a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment amongst the peer group, I hope to encourage students to feel comfortable enough to take risks in both Visual Arts and Humanities by introducing a variety of options, resources, materials and techniques to stimulate motivation and build self confidence.

Recognition of work
Publically celebrating students work by displaying there effort and accomplishments across the school, is an aspect I always strive to achieve as I believe this influences self worth and therefore motivation in the classroom.
